Gitmo Detainees to Receive H1N1 Vaccine, Despite White House Claim

"Guantanamo Bay detainees will be receiving the H1N1 vaccine, the Pentagon confirmed Tuesday, even though White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said minutes earlier that the vaccine is not "on the way."

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said Gibbs was correct in saying the vaccine is not currently on its way, but clarified that it is scheduled to be at the naval base on Cuba by the end of November.
"The department has an obligation to care for persons in its custody and we take that seriously," Whitman told Fox News. "There is a limited supply of this vaccine so we have prioritized our population."
Whitman said the vaccine would go first to deployed forces, then active duty, then health care workers, then detainees and then non-American contractors working for the Department of Defense.
Gibbs was less forthcoming when asked about earlier reports in which military officials said the vaccine would soon be on its way. Following some complaints that the detainees could be receiving the treatment before other Americans, Gibbs seemed to suggest that there were no plans to vaccinate the 215 detainees remaining in the facility.
"There is no vaccine in Guantanamo. There is no vaccine on the way to Guantanamo," Gibbs said. "I don't know what the Pentagon said. ... There wasn't any there and there wasn't any on the way."
Prison populations are considered high-risk for flu viruses. Army Maj. James Crabtree, a spokesman for the U.S. jail facility in southeast Cuba, said Sunday that detainees will be vaccinated "entirely on a voluntary basis," and that a segment of the population will refuse, either due to anxiety about a shot or out of a "distrust of our motivations."

Ok, my opinion... BULL$#!7

I believe that there is a trial vaccine that is being distribute among these inmates (if that is what you want to call them) as scientific tests. It's the basic scientific method, ask a question, do background research, construct a hypothesis, test your hypothesis by conducting an experiment, analyze your data and draw a conclusion, communicate your results (or in the Governments case, don't).

I don't think that I need to fill in the blanks here to explain the steps involved in giving the prisoners a per se "vaccine" for H1N1. Let them be the guinea pigs, I don't care. If you think about it, why else whould they want to give prisoners who are sentenced to death something that would keep them from dying from a virus? They wouldn't. We will just wait and see what happens. Oh, by the way... I do think that it sucks that it's our tax dollars paying for it.

I Love The Undead

Survival Input....

Ok so, in my opinion the world today with its new ideas on how to raise their children (if you want to call it raising), political correctness, and overall sensitiveness to everyones feelings... the majority of us are SCREWED when the impending zombie holocaust occurs. Yea movies and TV are becoming more and more violent and vulgar which causes a much needed desensitization of this country's youth but time outs and standing in corners teaches our kids nothing of discipline. So how do you expect anyone to survive? listen and learn.

1. Organize before they rise!

2. They feel no fear, why should you?

3. Use your head: cut off theirs

4. Blades don't need reloading

5. Ideal protection = tight clothes, short hair

6. Get up the staircase, then destroy it

7. Get out of the car, get onto the bike

8. Keep moving, keep low, keep quiet, keep alert!

9. No place is safe, only safer

10. The zombie may be gone, but the threat still lives on.

But first of all, raise your kids with some balls so that one day they wont become one of the undead and i wont have to put a bullet between their eyes!!!

Zombie Fest - All Month Long!!!

Ok, so I've stubmled upon something I think everyone should check out. I could keep embedding videos all day and keep taking up space on the blog, but I think I will just share the whole site instead. It is a site called "Crackle". It is Zombiefest! All month long! There are a ton of videos on here and lost of them are hillarious such as the post below where Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) plays a dead college loser, and another called "Rising Up - The Story of the Zombie Rights Movement". I definately think this site is worth checking out!

Zombie Ink

My good friend Overlooked72 was kind enough to send me some pics of his new ink. I've seen it and it looks great! This guy has to be one of the biggest fans of Zombies you'll ever meet. As I post new articles on here, he is my number one resource. Full of information about the undead. I can tell you this, if and when an outbreak occurs... I am definately teaming up with him. Plague of the Dead

GREAT BOOK!!!
Well, I didn't rear it, i listened to it on audio book purchased from Audible, but either way it is a great story!
Written by Z.A Recht It is a story about Lt. Colonel Anna Demilio of the USAMRIID. She knows the danger of this new viruse the called the Morningstar Virus.The goverment plays down the advances of the virus in Africa despite Demilio's warnings. The story follows the US soldiers and refugee civilians from Africa to the the USA all the while running from the Morningstar Strain. No one was properly notified due to the efforts of the government to hush it up.
The phrase "zombie" is only used in the story 2 times because they really aren't your classical per se "Zombie". The newley infected are still alive and are called "sprinters" due to the way they run at top speed and never tire. Once a sprinter is killed, (and by the way, they won't die on their own) they become a "Shambler" which is mor of your classic mindless zombie on the hunt for flesh and brains.
This take on a strain of a virus that takes over the world makes for a very "edge of your seat- white knuckled" story. If you are a fan of the undead, I really suggest this as a read, or listen.

The recent outbreak of the H1N1 flu has prompted this blog. If anyone has payed attention over the last 15-20 years or so, you know that anything that is a virus that has a vaccine comes back 3 fold. The ones that dont have a "vaccine" never mutate or get any worse. Always the same virus. You catch it, you get sick, you die. with all of the new flu shots, H1N1 nasal spray vaccines, hand sanitizer these old school viruses are becoming more and more immune to whatever mankind can throw at them. The flu used to be a common cold, H1N1 used to be the flu... so on and so forth. With the Mayan calendar facing us with 2012 as the end of days, it kind of makes you wonder...
